CHARACTERS

There are four basic traits that each character can upgrade:

  • Striking: Physical power in combat. Raising this will increase damage from melee attacks.
  • Agility: Physical speed in combat. Raising this will increase chances to hit and decrease chances to be hit while in melee combat.
  • Body: Physical toughness. Raising this will increase the amount of health points the character has.
  • Focus: Mastery of mutant ability. Raising this will increase the amount of energy points the character has.
BEAST
Unlocked: 1st Level - Xavier Mansion
After completing the Xavier tour, look for Beast in the Subbasement laboratory. Note: Talking to Beast unlocks the Juggernaut Flashback.

Unlocked:1st Level - New York City Streets
After defeating Mystique, Cyclops will join Wolverine.

After returning from Muir Island, look for Emma in the Sitting Room.

Unlocked:1st Level - Morlock Tunnels
Free Gambit from the Morlocks.

Unlocked:1st Level - Xavier Mansion
After completing the Xavier tour, look for Iceman in the Day Room (first floor).

After completing the HAARP Facility level, look for Jubilee outside to the front-right side of the mansion.

After completing the Xavier tour.
Note: Magma will not join the X-Men during combat until later in the game.

NIGHTCRAWLER

After completing the HAARP Facility level, look for Nightcrawler in the Library (first floor). Note: Nighcrawler unlocks the Sentinel Flashback.
